This morning I went to the women's court volleyball match. Japan and Dominican republic were up first. It was a close game but it was clear Japan was the better team. They had very fast offensive attacks that were hard to follow, while DR had more powerful hits. Three good games and Japan walked away winners. Next up was Algeria and Russia. The first game started and Russia was up 15 to 3 before I knew it. The front like looked to be at least 6'5" or taller and they quickly took care of Algeria. It got to the point where the crowd would start cheering loudly only when Algeria got a point. The venue was used in the last London Olympics, but still was a great venue. Again, I have to say how impressed I am with the traffic and crowd control at the Olympics. I haven't had to wait more than 15 minutes to get in to a venue that holds 20,000 people.
